Lately I've been thinking a lot about teen boarding schools and the idea that parents should seek help if they have teens that are getting into a lot of trouble. I personally haven't come to a conclusion yet but thought that I could post my thoughts on the matter.

Some parents simply don't want to talk to their teens and look for schools like this as a way to escape their responsibilities as parents. Others have tried everything and can't get their teens under control no matter what. Since each case is different, it's very difficult to create a solid black line between what's right and what's wrong.

Over the last two months I have had the priviledge of talking to some wonderful people that work at a school for troubled young men. Some of these young men have problems with their tempers, others have no respect for authority, and others are abusive to their parents and families. In many cases it takes a professional to get through to teens and this school REALLY helps people.

If you're a parent that's lost and struggles to control your child, you might want to consider talking to a school like the one I'm familiar with. It might be just what you're looking for.
