Camping lanterns are an essential piece
of camping equipment and one that every camper should have. There are a few types to choose from. You can get a liquid powered camping lantern, which is usually kerosene, you can get a gas powered lantern, or a battery powered lantern. There are also new solar lanterns on the market now. It is a pretty tough decision when you want to choose which one you need but you can look at the advantages and disadvantages. Solar and battery powered are the safest option as there is no open flame and you can’t burn yourself when you touch them. The gas powered style is the one that gives off the best light, however like the liquid fuel style, gas lanterns have an open flame and can be quite dangerous when you have kids or pets around.
