Setting Up Corner Bookcases

A great way to take advantage of unused space in a crowded room is the corner bookcase. These are especially handy for the display of knick-knacks as well as books they can be had in a variety of types.
The simplest is a set of shelves fastened to two backing boards at right angles. This is OK for a very plain apartment or rec room, it will hold books as well as any other, and they make them in just about any size that you can imagine. A lot of the big-box stores have them available in pre-fab kits, which can save even more money.
For nicely decorated rooms, glass doors and a nice molding at the top of the corner bookcase will make an pleasant presentation.
