Too many times, they spend time thinking about what would match best with their dress. For an ivory dress they buy ivory wedding shoes, for a white dress, they buy white bridal shoes. While these shoes will match well, they may not be comfortable and they will ruin a bride’s feet on her big day.
Therefore, the most important thing to think about is having comfortable bridal shoes. When trying on the shoes, make sure you try them on at the end of the day when your feet are swelled up from walking around and standing all day at the mall. After purchasing them, wear them around the house at home and walk around in them for more than an hour or two. Keep them clean by just wearing them around your house. This way, you can tell if you’ll be able to wear them for more than a few hours. If not and if they feel uncomfortable, try adding shoe pads so that you can see whether or not this makes a difference. If this still doesn’t make a difference, then return them. As a bride, you will be on your feet for more than 8 to 10 hours. The most important thing is to have comfortable wedding shoes on your big day.
