I praise God for all those who are actively sharing their faith on a regular basis.  I feel strongly that dark forces are hiding the Gospel here in America and in much of the world as well.  There seems to be a well-orchestrated effort to twist and manipulate the world’s understanding of Christianity and those of us who are believers need to spend as much time and effort as possible setting the record straight.  Naturally, some are better at sharing God’s Word than others, but we can each participate in faith sharing by using whatever gifts God has provided for us to use.  Some are great speakers, some are great writers, some are great supporters, and some are great organizers.  Each of us has a talent that can be used in a well-designed outreach program.

I believe every Christian church should have an ongoing outreach program that actively seeks to find unbelievers who are open to hearing the Gospel.  That program should include teams who locate potential prospects, teams who approach and counsel curious unbelievers, teams that support this effort with practical contributions such as transportation, cooking meals for workers, or simply providing money to fund the activities.   The ultimate goal should be to find something everybody can do toward this effort to help God seek and save the lost.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful if an entire congregation was involved in some way in an ongoing outreach effort?

Naturally this takes leadership and guidance.  The Internet is a great place to start looking for examples of successful faith sharing events and programs.  There are many resources available online including outreach tools, training materials, and even teams of people who can come to your church and organize a program designed specifically for your community’s needs.  I don’t believe any Christian will argue with the idea that we need to be sharing the love of God with our friends and neighbors.  By working together in small teams within a congregation and then collectively with several churches in a community, we can have a grand impact on those powers that seek to hide the Gospel from the world.
