In this day and age of hectic schedules, microwaves have been a great invention of convenience because they save a lot of time in the kitchen. If you have a small kitchen or don't have very much counter space, a small microwave oven can save you a lot of room. They are built smaller and are more affordable plus they use less electricity too. You can opt to get them in any color so they can match the other appliances in the kitchen, so a red microwave oven can matched with other red appliances you may have lying around.

These small microwave ovens are easy to find. You will probably want one with a glass turntable so food can be cooked evenly. Advantages are you can install it under a corner cabinet. The corner is unusually deep and not accessible so a microwave in that space would be a great use of it. These types of microwaves are fully functional and can have all the bells and whistles of their larger counterparts. Another factor to look for, are microwaves that are easy to mount to the cabinets. Price of microwaves can be a little more than $100.00 to a few hundred. Some microwaves are also convection ovens too. They can brown and toast food but will cost more than just your standard microwave. You can purchase .7 cubic foot microwave that would be perfect for a dorm room or a small apartment. The larger models can be up to 1.6 cubic feet.

There are so many uses for the small microwave oven. Main uses would include heating leftovers and defrosting meat for dinner meals. Just because the oven is small, doesn't mean it can't last. Some people have had their microwaves for over twenty years. The convenience of microwaves is unmatched. They are easy and efficient to use and will save you time so that you can do the things that matter most to you.
