Fein now has a lot of competition for the Multimaster tool now that their patent for the reciprocating action tool has expired, but the company and the tool is still at the top of the market. This current model of the Multimaster has gotten rid of the cumbersome allen wrench that served as the chuck key. The new one has a tab that is lifted to release the entire bolt away from the chuck. And once any one of the accessories is in place the bolt is replaced and you press the tab back into the slot which makes it a snap to change accessories. Since one of the main features of the Multimaster is the ability to change accessories quickly, this is a great feature.
