Preventing Fleas
As the warmer seasons approach, most pet owners start worrying about the fleas and ticks that this season will bring. For people that live in rural areas, this concern is even greater, as long grasses and bushes contribute to the population of these pests greatly, and your animal has a much greater chance of suffering. There are, however, some simple methods that you can use to reduce the risk of being overtaken by fleas. One of the most important things to do is to keep the outside of your house tidy. Keep your grass freshly mowed, and these little guys will have nowhere to run to baby, nowhere to hide.
Getting a good dog flea treatment is a second step to preventing the attacks. A simple application on the back of your animals’ neck on a regular basis will certainly help to keep the itchies away. Your dog will be forever grateful to you for taking the time to care
