Well I thought the habit of coveting and indeed copying your neighbours was a thing of the past but apparently not. I was round at Vic and Susie's house the other day and they were proudly showing off their new bedroom set complete with canopy bed. It was impressive although a little over the top for my tastes, nevertheless I thought they had done the room out well and with taste. In this situation if I see some friends of mine come up with a good idea I might file it away and save it for a rainy day. What I wouldn't do is what another mutual friend Jack did, which was to go out the following week and buy exactly the same canopy bedroom set as Vic and Susie. I mean exactly the same, the same colors and the same pieces of furniture. I guess maybe in his head he saw it as a compliment.
