Create Your Avatar

There are numerous 3D social networks available, so drop by the virtual destination of your choice.  If you haven’t done so, create an account and log in.  It’s usually free to join.  Download the site’s software and install any required plug-ins.

Select a basic 3D avatar form to use and then start customizing it.  You can try on different hairstyles and colors, skin tones, facial features, and more until you get the look you like.

When you are satisfied with your avatar’s physical appearance, it’s time to choose your clothing.  Most sites provide a variety of mix and match options.  Happy with your look?  Then save the avatar as your online representative.

Construct Your 3D Home

You will find a tab or button that activates the site’s room or house building function.  Take a look around the initial environment the site has supplied.  It should be easy to find instructions about adding additional furniture pieces or accessories like artwork or hot tubs.  You may be required to purchase some items with virtual currency you have earned or, in some cases, real money.  When you are satisfied with your changes, save your house and surroundings.  This is now your avatar’s personal space.

Now you may want to practice getting around your place.  Rearrange your furniture and accessories or try laying on the bed or sitting on the sofa.  Take a soak in the spa, shoot a game of pool, or have some friends drop in and chill awhile.  Don’t be shy.  After all, it is your home.
