There is pressure in society today to be smart.  Face it, if you are not seen as smart, you will just get the old smile and wave when other pass you by.  Like it or not, with all of the technological advances taking place at breakneck speed, those who are not willing to keep up are going to be left behind in a cloud of dust, wondering what hit them.

As I was looking at some digital products recently, I noticed that there were products popping up design to teach people how to become smarter.  They referred to it as boosting your brain power, but the idea was there.  I hope it works for people but I think much of the problem could be avoided if people appreciated the education they were being offered when they were young.
