Hiking, Camping, and Fishing

August 20th, 2009

Many modern campers just aren’t satisfied with camping alone. They need more to engage their adventurous spirit. Often, these intrepid outdoors man and ladies will often also incorporate hiking into their trip. Often this is achieved by setting a hiking rout, and camping along the way until the end destination is reached. But many more outdoor enthusiasts have even started adding fishing to the mix. This is especially true of hikers and campers who frequent wildernesses teaming with native fishing streams.

When combining these three activities, you must consider the added gear you will need to bring along. Not only will you need special, portable camping gear, but specialized fishing gear as well! Luckily, many travel fishing rods have been created for just this purpose as well as a number of light weight, easy to carry tackle boxes.
