Do you wish that you could have a dog, but where you live does not allow pets of any kinds? Why not look in to volunteering at your local pound, humane society or ASPCA. Believe it or not there are hundreds if not thousands of dogs and cats each year end up without a home and are put in to the pound.

Or sadly they tend to end up with the ASPCA But while the cats and dogs wait for their new homes, why not take the coupons that you find in your newspapers and give them to your local. Or you can buy the dog food with the printable dog food coupons that you collect and then bring it in to the shelter to volunteer. You would be surprised at how much just a little bit of kindness affects the pets. And you would be helping the shelter too. However you want to do it you can use all of the dog food coupons that you collect through the papers, online, receipts and even on the dog food bags.

It is so important that the dogs that are in the shelters and other places get the proper nutrition that they need. Because of the fact that you want them to look and feel totally well-kept animal that is happy energetic and full of life. They do not want one that looks malnourished, dirty or mean. A lot of the time the people that come to the pounds and shelters are looking for a dog that is looking for a second chance and one that is good with family members. If you are looking to adopt or foster a dog you really need to look at your life and ask yourself if you can actually handle another child because in reality that is what another dog is. They really do look to you for love, support, food, fun and for all around interaction if you are not able to give them the care that they need then a dog is not right for you at this time.
