Cheap Gaming Computers – MSI X600 Notebook Review

August 23rd, 2009

MSI is a Taiwan based computer manufacture and design company, that has gotten very little attention in the western world until recent years. Their Ultra thin or “X-Slim” X600 series notebook features a sleek attractive design; which only improves as you look at the hardware that comes standard from the factory in this quality notebook computer. It can be hard to locate a supplier in some regions of the world, but the official MSI website has an easy to use search tool to find one nearest you. With a starting cost of less than $1000 it is certainly worth the time invested to find a supplier when you consider the quality of the product you are receiving for that price. There are not many comparable gaming laptops in the same price range as the MSI X600, so it is hardly a stretch to say it should be on a short list of candidates for anyone looking at entry level cheap gaming computers.

However, don’t get the wrong impression by the word “cheap”; the MSI X600’s price tag is cheap, but the hardware is certainly not poor quality. It comes with an ATI Radeon HD 4330 video card, with 512MB of memory. Although that graphics card is over a year old, it is still capable of running most modern PC games on the market today. In addition to this quality default hardware, the X600 also comes with a built in web cam for hands free no additional hardware required online chatting or video creation. All this together makes the MSI X600 one of the top value gaming laptops for sale to date.
